As we were out picking up used motorcycles for sale, we came across a great route to ride along in Virginia. It is the Military Road trail. This whole route takes place in Amelia County, Virginia which is located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. First, begin at the intersection of Hull Street and Military Road. Ride down Follow Military Rd south to route 708. Turn left onto Route 708 to Cralles road. After a few miles, Cralles Rd. soon leads to Namozine Rd. Once you reach Richmond road at the T-intersection, make a left then a sharp right. Continue onto Namozine road for a while then take Namozine all the way to US-460. Your ride will shortly come to an end at a county store where you can pick up food or get gas.
During this trail, you and your significant other will be able to see peaceful ponds and creeks. The view of the landscape you’ll travel is a breath of fresh air. Military Road takes you through the woods, open fields and past many country homes. There are plenty of side roads to travel on if you’d like to during this ride. If you like adventure, this ride is for you! The ride is very short but it gives you a taste of how Virginia living really is.
